Weerg 3D Printing Award 2017

 

This project was designed as entry for the Weerg 3D Printing Award 2017.

The goal of the competition was to design a model capable to stress and show the capability of Weerg's new printer: the HP MJF 4210. This very complex weaving structure was achieved with Grasshopper 3D (an alghoritm-aided-design tool). As a plus i wanted to give a secondary purpose: a lampshade.

The final print was shown as winner of the contest during the Mecspe 2018.
